About Me

I’m Shakil Khan, an emerging scholar-practitioner blending environmental economics, climate policy and data science. With dual undergraduate training at Dhaka School of Economics and IIT Madras, I apply econometric and machine-learning methods to policy problems such as NDC implementation, net-zero transitions, and climate finance. As Editor-in-Chief of Econology and author of working papers on NDCs and socioeconomic impacts, I combine technical skills and leadership to produce rigorous, policy-relevant research. I’ll start my next chapter in February 2026, beginning my Master of Economics of Sustainability at Torrens University Australia.
